DIRECTIONS
From 295 North or South: Get off in Brunswick at exit 28.
Go straight down Pleasant Street to the intersection of Maine Street. Take Left onto Maine Street. Fort Andross is just after the "on ramp" to Route one on the Left.
From Route One North: Pass both Topsham exits. Just after passing under bridge, follow signs to “Maine Street. ” Take a left onto Cushing Street. At first stop sign, take right onto Pleasant Street. At light take left onto Maine Street. Fort Andross is just after the "on ramp" to Route one on the Left.
At the Fort: Go in the door marked "Cabot Mill Antiques". Go down 1/2 flight of stairs and at the end of the hallway bear left. Take another left at the first intersecting hallway and the studio is the 2nd door on the right.

DECIDING ON A CLASS: Students are encouraged to try a variety of classes and to challenge themselves by increasing the level of difficulty over time. Participating in dance class should be a pleasant, nurturing experience. As a general guideline, refer to the level recommendations located on the bottom right of schedule. You can also call the studio or speak with your teacher for assistance.
ATTENDANCE: Regular attendance is very important to your success. Make it a priority. New material is presented in each class, and the level of difficulty increases each week, especially in classes for ages 10 and up. If you know you are going to miss a class, you are encouraged to meet with a fellow student to review the material that was presented.
PREPARATION: To make the most of your dance class, arrive mentally open and positive. Try to arrive 5-10 minutes early to change, check in, and prepare yourself for class. If for some uncontrolled reason, you arrive late, enter quietly so that you don’t disturb other students. If you need to leave class early, inform your teacher before the end of class. You are encouraged to bring a water bottle to class. There is also water available at the studio.
DANCE ATTIRE: Wear loose & comfortable with full range of movement. Only soft soled dance
shoes can be worn in class, no street shoes allowed. To avoid slipping, please be careful when dancing
with socks on. Students can also dance barefoot.
DANCE CLASS ETIQUETTE: Do not sit down in class or stop participating unless invited to by the teacher. A teacher may stop to give correction to an individual in class, but the information given is useful for everyone. Please pay attention and make a physical effort to follow along with the corrective instructions. As a teacher is demonstrating a movement, feel free to move around on the dance floor inorder to see more clearly. Out of respect to your teacher and other students, please keep talking to a minimum during class. Ask questions by raising your hand when you are unclear about an instruction or detail, or speak up when the teacher asks for questions. It is customary to applaud & thank your teacher at the end of each class, to acknowledge the experience, preparation and energy they have brought to class.
